What an awesome weekend we had!! On behalf of the Bands Boosters Executive Board, Director, and Coaches, we would like to say "Thank You" to our volunteers: students, parents, alumni and parents of alumni. We went from not knowing if we could have a show at all, to scrambling to cram a full day into a half-day due to a delay status, to working our butts off setting up, guiding units, selling goods, cooking food, picking up food, running around, parking vehicles and tearing down. Without you, we couldn't have had such a successful MVHS Indoor Color Guard & Percussion Home Show. We had 48 teams compete and over 800 attendees that came through the doors of MVHS.
Congratulations to the MVHS Winter Color Guard Team on achieving 2nd Place out of 9 Guards in the Scholastic A3 Class with a score of 64.49 on Saturday at our Home Show!!
Upcoming Events - Mark Your Calendar:
Pre-Assessment Concert - Advance Band/Symphonic Winds.
Students report time is 6 pm. The concert begins at 7 pm. The MV Area Band which is consist of our feeder Elementary Band students will also be performing, so we will have a pack theater.
Are you FREE for a couple of hours this Saturday, On Saturday, February 24th our MV Majors Winter Guard Team have their 3rd competition @ Woodgrove HS in Purcellville , VA. Their performance is scheduled for 2 pm. Please come and support, it will truly mean the world to our performers to have you all there to show your support.
